I am so glad I stumbled upon non-disclosure...I had a nipple-sparing double mastectomy with reconstruction a couple of years ago, and have been on a desperate search for the perfect bras ever since. ANY kind of padding whatsoever makes my fake boobs look so weirdly shaped and unnatural, but I still need nipple coverage...I had given up on wearing any kind of tighter shirts because I was so self-conscious, and it is so nice to be able to wear those things again! Bonus is the bra is super comfortable, it feels like a soft hug. The bottom band rolls a bit by the end of the day but it doesn't really bother me. They are definitely a little pricier than I am used to but I hope to be able buy more soon, because they are worth it! I am a 34 B-C ish and the Large fit perfectly.
I bought size large where typical sport bra size is medium / 34A for the sole purpose of the nipple concealing feature. This was a gift for someone who constantly had trouble finding comfortable bra’s without the pad insert which always falls out or bunches up during a wash.
NDA bras replaced both bra types!
She loves them!
These bras are just what I needed! Concealing the nipple without bulking your whole cup with padding!
Definitely take the advice of sizing up. I’m a 36A or 36B and would usually wear medium, but the Large is the right size for me. I got Large in the Elli bralette. I might have been able to get away with medium in the Gigi but large is definitely better.
I range from a 38G to a 40DD and struggle finding a comfortable bra! Gigi is relaxed and soft, but can still keep the girls from touching my belly button! This is my go to when I get home and want to ditch the underwire but still need something on. Gigi is my girl!
I got four of the Gigi Bralettes in a large (usually a 38C), fully expecting to rotate them in with my regular bras. That was two months ago. I have worn a regular bra exactly twice since then, and both times I deeply regretted it.
These things are that good.
Comfortable? Yes. Convenient? Absolutely. But, here’s the real reason I’m writing this review.
I am a person blessed with what I lovingly refer to as the "pointer sisters." You know the ones. They announce themselves at every meeting, every grocery run, every slightly cold room. I have tried the band-aids. I have tried the stickies. I have tried the tape (do not recommend). I had basically accepted my fate as a woman in a permanent state of "it's chilly in here."
And then this bralette came along and flipped the entire script on my boob situation.
The coverage is real. The comfort is real. The "I forgot I was even wearing it" feeling is very real.
Becky, I don't know how you did it, but you made something that genuinely works for everyone - every size, every shape, every pointer sister situation.
If I could give this a hundred stars, I would. I'd give it two hundred. But five will have to do, and trust me, they are very enthusiastically earned.
