The Elli Girls Bralette - Pink

Want sewn-in pads that never come out in the wash? Our concealing petals are better because there's no bulk! They're permanently sealed into each cup during production, so there's nothing to remove, lose, or stuff back in.

• Junior: about ages 8 to 10, girls' clothing sizes 8 to 10, A and B cups in bands 24 to 28 (24A to 28B).
• Small: about ages 11 to 13, girls' clothing sizes 12 to 14, A and B cups in bands 30 and 32 (30A, 30B, 32A, 32B). It's the same bra as our women's Elli S. See all sizes in our Size Guide.

Go by her clothing size first, since every girl grows at her own pace.

Wearing a 14/16 or larger? Try the women's Elli Bralette in M or L. If she's developing a C cup or larger, try the Gigi Bralette for full coverage.

Design: a seamless, wire-free ribbed pullover with no back clasp and 1/4" adjustable straps. The ribbed knit stretches as she grows, so it fits longer.

Easy Care, Long Life

• Machine washable: wash in a mesh lingerie bag using cold or warm water (or hand wash). The bag keeps the straps from tangling in the wash.
• Air dry: lay flat or hang to dry. Skipping the dryer prevents heat damage and keeps the concealing petals smooth for years.
• The best part: no removable pads! No hunting for lost foam cups in the dryer or stuffing them back into tiny openings.

• Keep at least one bra from your order and return the rest: no return fee.
• Exchanges: free.

• What is a training bra? A soft, light first bra for girls whose breasts are just starting to develop. It's less about support and more about coverage and comfort, so she feels confident in a T-shirt.
  
• Do training bras have padding? Many do, but the Elli Girls has no padding. Thin, concealing petals are sealed into each cup, so breast buds and nipples stay hidden without foam.
  
• What size training bra for a 10 year old? Most 8 to 10 year olds wear our Junior (girls' clothing sizes 8 to 10, A and B cups in bands 24 to 28). Most 11 to 13 year olds wear our Small (girls' 12 to 14, A and B cups in bands 30 and 32). Go by her clothing size first.
  
• When should a girl start wearing a bra? Many girls start when breast buds begin to show, or when she feels self-conscious about her nipples showing through her shirt.
  
• How should a training bra fit? Snug, but never tight. With no wire and no back clasp, nothing digs in, and the petals should sit right over her breast buds. If it feels tight, order the next size up. No return fee when you keep at least one bra.
  
• Will it show through her school shirt? No. The petals are thinner than a credit card with smooth edges, and the seamless knit lies flat, so there are no lines or bumps under white shirts and uniforms.
  
• Is it comfortable for sensitive skin? Yes. It's tagless (the label is printed inside), the petals are sealed in with no stitching, the hardware is nickel-free, and our nylon is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.
  
• Can she wear it for sports? Yes. It's soft, stretchy, and wire-free, and the petals stay put when she runs, jumps, and plays.
  
• What happens when she outgrows it? The ribbed knit stretches, so it fits for a long time. When she's ready for more, she can move up to the women's Elli Bralette in M or L, or the Gigi Bralette for full coverage, with the same built-in petals.
  
• Is the Elli Girls the same as the women's Elli? Yes. It's our women's Elli Bralette in our two smallest sizes. The Girls Small is the same bra as the women's Elli S.
