But not just any swimwear—we're installing our game-changing concealing petals in your favorite bathing suit, whether it's bikini top, one piece, swim dress or tankini.

Why Traditional Swimsuit Nipple Covers Are the Worst

Let's be honest here. The foam padding in most swimsuits is about as effective as using a paper towel as an umbrella. Sure, it works for about five minutes, but then you're left with a soggy mess.

Here's the problem: these foam pads absorb water while swimming, become waterlogged, and then take approximately seven years to dry (okay, exaggeration, but still). Meanwhile, you're stuck with damp padding irritating your skin. Not to mention how it creases, folds, and generally makes your suit look lumpy in all the wrong places.

What about stick-on silicone nipple covers? Let's just say that trapping water under non-breathable disks pressed against your skin is a recipe for irritation—not to mention the joy of peeling them off after a day at the beach. These reusable nipple shields are better than a padded swim top, but you run the risk of losing one (or both) while swimming or at any point for that matter.

The petals are heat-sealed into your swimsuit, creating a permanent bond with the material.

How Our Swimwear Retrofit Process Works

We have two types of concealing petals depending on your swimsuit:

• For swimsuits with existing 'pocket' access for removable padding, we install our petals between the lining and outer layer.
• For a single-layer swimwear, we apply petals with soft, cotton bamboo directly to the lining.  We're currently testing recycled nylon swim fabric to use instead.
• Using a high-heat press, we permanently fuse the petals to your swimsuit fabric. The result? Nipple coverage that moves with you, feels natural against the skin, and doesn't advertise itself to the world.
